Professor Ania Korszun

Ania Korszun is Professor of Psychiatry at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London, and Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist at East London NHS Trust and Royal London Hospital. She trained in Dentistry and Medicine and has a unique experience of clinical research in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery environment. Her particular expertise is in mood and anxiety disorders and particularly the interface of stress and mental illness with other medical conditions. Her recent projects include developing interventions to improve treatment outcome and reduce subsequent involvement in violence.
